Teen Classes

McCarter’s Teen Acting Collective provides an ongoing creative space and home for artistic teens to gather throughout the school year. Each semester builds upon previously mastered skills while remaining open to new participants. Teens collaborate to explore scene study, monologue development, improvisation, and audition technique, all guided by their individual interests. Structured movement and vocal exercises equip students with an “actor’s toolbox” that enhances public speaking and leadership abilities. Through ensemble work and performance showcases, participants cultivate emotional intelligence, adaptability, and teamwork—skills that serve both the stage and real-world challenges. Join Teen Acting Collective to advance artistry, confidence, and communication, semester after semester!
